2. Role as Agent
When you make a booking through Bailey’s Travel, you are entering into a contract with the Supplier/Principal of the travel services. We will confirm the identity of the Supplier/Principal at the time of booking.
We accept no responsibility for the provision of the travel services themselves, which are supplied under the Supplier/Principal’s own terms and conditions.
3. Booking & Payment
A booking is confirmed only once:
-
We issue a confirmation invoice, and
-
The required deposit or full payment is received.
Payment schedules and deposit requirements vary by Supplier/Principal. Failure to make payments on time may result in cancellation by the Supplier/Principal, and their cancellation fees will apply.
4. Accuracy of Information
We take all reasonable care to ensure that the information we provide regarding prices, descriptions and availability is accurate. However, errors may occur. If a pricing or description error is found before your booking is confirmed, we will inform you and give you the option to continue or cancel.
5. Financial Protection (ABTA & ATOL)
-
We are a member of ABTA, which provides financial protection for non-flight package holidays and assistance if things go wrong abroad.
-
If your booking includes flights, it may be protected by ATOL. The ATOL holder will be clearly identified on your confirmation invoice.
For further information on financial protection, visit: www.abta.com and www.caa.co.uk/ATOL-protection

Some travel products (e.g., non-refundable airline tickets) may not be changeable.
7. Cancellation by You
You may cancel your booking at any time before departure; however:
-
Cancellation must be confirmed in writing.
-
The Supplier/Principal’s cancellation charges will apply and may be up to 100% of the booking value.
-
Deposits are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.
8. Changes or Cancellations by the Supplier/Principal
In rare circumstances, the Supplier/Principal may need to change or cancel your travel arrangements. We will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and explain your rights, which may include:
-
Accepting a suitable alternative,
-
Receiving a refund, or
-
Receiving compensation where applicable.
9. Travel Documents, Passport, Visa & Health Requirements
You are responsible for ensuring that:

You meet health and vaccination requirements.
We can provide general advice but are not responsible if you cannot travel due to failure to comply with requirements.
10. Behaviour
Suppliers/Principals reserve the right to refuse carriage or services if your behaviour risks the safety, enjoyment or wellbeing of others. No refunds will be issued in such circumstances.
11. Complaints & ABTA Assistance
If you have a problem during your trip, notify the Supplier/Principal immediately so they can resolve it.
If your complaint is not resolved:
-
Contact us at the earliest opportunity.
-
If you are still not satisfied, you may use ABTA’s dispute resolution scheme (www.abta.com).
As an ABTA Member, we are bound by ABTA’s Code of Conduct.
12. Our Liability as Agent
We are responsible for exercising reasonable skill and care in arranging your booking. However, we are not responsible for:
-
The performance of the travel services themselves, or
-
Any loss, damage or injury caused by Supplier/Principals, unless otherwise required by law.
Our liability will be limited to the value of the booking.
