Rail Tour Discovery Evening

Travelling by rail is one of the most relaxed and eco-friendly ways to arrive directly into the heart of any destination – the journey itself is an integral part of the holiday.

From the tracks you can really take the time to admire the scenery as you travel through countryside and cityscapes. You can voyage into the clouds; through mountain ranges and across wild plains. You can steam through canyons, skirt the edges of lakes, rivers and oceans, and even spot wildlife – all without leaving the comfort of your pre-booked seat.

There are many European tours which depart right here in the UK whilst we will also be featuring historic train journeys throughout the world including the Rocky Mountaineer in Canada and the Blue train in South Africa.

We will be joined by Fred. /  a rail specialist who will introduce you to the concept of train holidays, showing you the types of trips available, talking through their favourite destinations and answering any questions you may have.
