PENINSULA GARDENS KALKAN – TURKEY

Kalkan

What they say…

This is one of the most luxurious new hotels we have found on the Lycian coast.

Literally from the ground up, The Peninsula Gardens has been designed to make the most of the craggy coastal cliffs on which it stands. There are two buildings, but the slope allows the second building to command just as splendid a view as the first.

The ingenuity of the architects means, however, that walking around the hotel does not involve excessive climbing and, within each building, there are lifts to get you between the floors. Each air-conditioned room is appointed to a very high standard, with LCD plasma TV, DVD player, IPod docking station, safe, tea and coffee making facilities, iron, hairdryer and magnifying make-up mirrors. You also have Molton Brown toiletries, kimono style gowns, towelling slippers and beach towels.

What we say…

Although I haven’t stayed in this hotel myself I would always recommend Turkey and this hotel looks absolutely stunning. Looking at the hotel images you would almost expect it to be in the Caribbean or Indian Ocean. We have our first clients booked to go this year and they are incredibly excited.

Turkey generally is a great value European destination – with stunning beaches, hotels and resorts. The fact that Turkey is also outside of the Euro should also mean that your money goes further.

EXCELLENCE RIVIERA CANCUN – MEXICO

cancun

What they say…

If you have a taste for romance and relaxation, the all inclusive luxury of Excellence Riviera Cancun is waiting to welcome you.

Situated on a sugar white sand beach on Mexico’s Riviera Maya coast, Excellence Riviera Cancun is a classic all-suite Mediterranean-style resort of stucco, tile and marble.

It may be secluded but it’s not isolated. Vibrant Cancun, cosmopolitan Playa del Carmen and the ancient Mayan world are all at your doorstep. So much to discover–still, no one would blame you if you lingered at the resort.

The adults only world is a tropical fantasy that revolves around six winding pools, the clear Caribbean, well-appointed accommodations…and you. Open yourself up to a world of pampering at Miilé Spa. Experience gourmet cuisine at the eight international restaurants. Take an afternoon snorkel…or siesta. Enjoy a yoga class on the beach at sun-up….or a late-night spin on the dance floor in the nightclub lounge. All inclusive. All suite. All luxury.

What we say…

“I absolutely loved my holiday to the Excellence Riviera. The fact that the hotel is adults only makes a big difference to the atmosphere. Standard rooms at the hotel are actually suites so no matter what room type you get you will enjoy luxury surroundings!

There are a variety of restaurants and 6 pools so a great hotel if you are looking for choice! You are also well situated for trips to Chitchen Itza and Tulum.’

SILVERSEA CRUISES

silversea

What they say…

Silversea Cruises presents sumptuous ocean-view suites and the tantalizing freedom of an all-inclusive lifestyle aboard a plethora of luxury cruises. Each all-inclusive cruise reflects distinctive European styling in every detail, from uncompromising service to exquisite gourmet dining. Intimate spaces and well-travelled, international guests foster a convivial onboard ambience. And in each fascinating destination, Silversea provides access to exclusive explorations and uniquely enriching cultural connections.

Silversea — The Ultimate Luxury Cruise Vacation.

What we say…

‘It would be fair to say that I am a big fan of Silversea cruises. My husband and I have travelled from Dubai to Singapore, Hong Kong to Singapore via Vietnam, the Caribbean and we are planning our next trip to Montreal via Iceland & Greenland.

I think what sets Silversea apart is that they offer unobtrusive luxury – service is attentive with your personal preferences remembered. Silversea have small ships and offer a personal service, the cruises are smart casual with two formal evenings and all cabins are suites which all come with butler service.

It’s the small things that make the difference, we found that the butler we had on our first cruise remembered us when we came back three years later!’

SANDALS GRANDE ANTIGUA

Sandals Antigua

What they say…

Voted the “World’s Most Romantic Resort”, year after year, Sandals Grande Antigua offers you the best of two worlds-the authentic Caribbean and the stylish Mediterranean-in one legendary all-inclusive holiday. Set on Antigua’s best and most famous beach, Dickenson Bay, the resort’s charming seaside garden oasis known as the Caribbean Grove is graced by meandering pathways, majestic palms and cooling Trade winds. Then step into a realm of chic sophistication where European grandeur unfolds from the hillside to villas-by-the-sea at the Six-Star, all-suite Mediterranean Village. At Sandals Grande Antigua, it is said a flower blooms suddenly with every kiss. Create your own lover’s legend as you share the most romantic holiday of a lifetime. Two perfect worlds. One grand resort. All included.

What we say…

‘Antigua is an amazing place. Due to its small size it has a really authentic feel, something which is particularly reinforced by the friendly locals. As all the beaches are public there isn’t the sense of isolation you can get from some Caribbean resorts. I enjoy a morning run and found that running on the beach early in the morning was a great chance to catch a glimpse of real island life.

Look out for the legendary Barbara, well known to locals and tourists alike for her lively personality and huge array of colourful bangles.

Although both are special I would recommend the Caribbean Grove section of the resort over the Mediterranean Village. The Mediterranean part of the resort is designed to resemble a typical Spanish, Tenerife style resort – a novelty for the many Americans who visit but not so much for a British audience.

Caribbean Grove is more intimate and friendly, with smaller pools and is situated right next to the white sand beach.’

LOEWS ROYAL PACIFIC RESORT – FLORIDA

Royal Pacific

What they say…

Experience the allure of the South Seas at Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando.

Feel the excitement of a time when adventurous travelers first island-hopped the South Pacific, relaxing along their journey at magnificent resorts where they could just kick back and enjoy the beauty of the islands.

You can dine on exceptional cuisine; delight in the impeccable service; and soak in the breathtaking splendor of lush tropical surroundings at a white sandy beach of the lagoon-style swimming pool; all while enjoying the latest in modern conveniences.

What we say…

I am a huge fan of Florida and of Orlando in particular, I just love the rides! I’ve stayed in a few hotels but Loews Royal Pacific Resort is by far my favourite.

The hotel is within the grounds of Universal Studios and is particularly close to ‘The Wizarding World of Harry Potter’. By staying on site you benefit from early entry into the park as well as travelling into the heart of the resort by water taxi.

Anything you purchase in the numerous shops on site is also seamlessly delivered to your hotel – no need to carry lots of heavy bags!

Eating in the resort can be quite expensive so for your evening meal I’d recommend the 15 minute taxi ride to International Drive, as the name suggests this is a tourist hub with a wide range of shops and restaurants.

NEW YORKER – USA

New yorker

What they say…

From Muhammad Ali to Nikola Tesla, late President John F. Kennedy to Jennifer Hudson, many of the most influential individuals in history – slept here. The property’s chief engineer is the unofficial archivist, and his collection of old brochures and photos dating back to 1929 tells a fantastic story of a major piece of New York City history.

The New Yorker Hotel is one of the most famous hotels in New York. Located on 8th Avenue in Midtown, Manhattan, come revel in the newly re-imagined grandeur of this historic hotel. Our guest rooms and suites deliver contemporary comforts that leave nothing to be desired for today’s business travelers.

What we say…

Whilst the New Yorker is by no means one of the more luxurious options in New York, it’s location – opposite Madison Square Gardens and just over the road from the Empire State building makes it great for exploring one of the world’s greatest cities.

The hotel itself is big, brash and has been recently renovated – the classic New York hotel for an authentic New York experience. It is impossible not to be in awe of the city itself. It is a strange experience to walk around a city you feel as though you know – not because you have been before but because it is the set for such a large number of TV shows and blockbuster movies.

Although you might not see Spiderman swinging from building to building or familiar faces from Friends or How I Met Your Mother, there is enough happening in this city to ensure you won’t be left disappointed.
